Doesn't take much of a faggot to not play it, but it takes a huge one to hate on it(at least Melee, although the only problem I have with Brawl is really the short vulnerability window on a lot of invincibility options) without understanding it. Mostly happens because of the difference of the systems, of course.

Doesn't really matter much because it's clear the series doesn't have much of a future. Sakurai pretty much confirmed himself for disliking competitive gamers and gaming before Brawl came out.

You misunderstand. Or I didn't state it well enough.

Of course the franchise will continue. I was simply saying that if you enjoy the game in that aspect(especially for the people who prefer Melee to Brawl because of things like slowness and tripping), then as long as Sakurai's leading development the future doesn't really look too bright. The average person will still continue to love the game, of course, and there's no problem with that. Although I believe Sakurai stated he didn't want to make another sequel after Melee, he still made Brawl and there will probably be more.

I wasn't trying to say that Smash as a franchise was going to end. What I'm saying is most likely not even relevant to you or your interests.
