That working for free as an intern because it's the only way to get hired but you hate every second of it and want to go back to NEETing again feel.

Also that feel when you report a thread.

They don't want to hear that you have education, they want someone who they can depend to stay there for at least a few years and grow into the job.

16 year old fucks have more promise that a Ph.d in that regard. Ph.dman can just walk out the door a week later, 16 year old can't.

I know that feel. I probably won't have a problem to get a job in the next month or two, but it's such a bother. The only reason I want a job is a bigger apartment and more money for figures. And alcohol.

You know, some of us actually decided to take those extra credit classes. Hell the Russian was the only thing keeping me afloat for the longest time since I got some freelance translation work tossed my way.

I would take any job right now.
ANY JOB.

But no one will hire me because
1. I have no job experience
2. I'm 25 with no job experience
3. Everyone I know is also unemployed for one or another reason so referrals are out of the question
4. Nobody wants to hire in the first place

I don't even bother looking for a job anymore.
I know I should but... it's not like anyone will hire me.

I don't want to look for a job because I have no qualifications (didn't qualify for most college courses due to being retarded at maths) and the jobs that I would be able to get pay absolutely shit and have little or no work hours to give me. If I begin working I lose my benefits which pays me more than any shitty shop counter job.

>> No.7128502

I pay over one thousand dollars for a Pharmacy Technician course at my state college. I paid more money to take the certification exam. Paid even more money to get my license.

2 years later, still no job!!

As much as I want to blame companies/hospitals for only wanting to hire people with experience (I've never had a job before), it's probably safe to say it's my fault anyways. I wish I had gone to one of those more expensive private schools were they place you in a job.

>> No.7128508

I left highschool when I was 16. I'm 18 now and haven't done anything since. My mum is pissed off about it and has forced me to apply for an interview to a college.

What the fuck am I going to do, /jp/. I haven't been out since I left high school. I haven't talked to anyone other than my mum and sister.

>> No.7128532

Don't go to college. Just work a shitty job in a shop or factory and remind yourself that you do it so you can import things and you'll gradually accept that to have nice things you have to do work.

College isn't hard dude. I wasted like 7 years in college. Easy as shit. If you wanna be a worthless fuck and take it easy, jump on that opportunity. Then you can have until your mid-twenties before the stress starts to get really real.

I have no work experience and I tried applying for a job at McDonalds as a Janitor.

...It's been like a week since then and I still did not even get a call for an interview. I imagine i'm not going to get it. I also tried looking at jobs in Supermarkets awhile back too, same story there. God dammit, having no work experience blows.

>> No.7128560

In my high school, we had a work experience thing in the last week of term where you'd go get a job for a week and it would go on your CV to help you get a job when you eventually leave school.

I fucking skipped school a week before so I wouldn't get pulled up for not having a placement for it. Therefor I have 0 experience of any kind, and failed most of my exams. Only thing I passed was English, then I left at 16 and haven't done anything since. I'm nearly 19. Fuck my life.

Just go to community college and save your money. If you realize the education is worth your time then transfer to a uni or college. Also it might be better to go to community college so you can get a job too.

Same here, I couldn't care less what the future holds but I know that until I am 26 I will have roof over my head, no responsibilities, and classes that barely take effort. I started college when I was 17 and now that I am 21 I am still a sophomore due to only taking 1-2 classes a semester.

Finally managed to get a job through connections starting today, but it seems to be the high energy sales/marketing sort of business. Ended up thrown into a meeting the first day despite not knowing what the fuck is going on for the most part. I wonder how long I can last here with my schizoid sort of tendencies (though I've been trying to put up a normalfag front so far).

>> No.7128630

Fair chance I'm going to get hired straight out of university, it's just a matter of either landing that pretty cool job or settling for an okay one. I know at least one guy who works in each of my three top choices, which doesn't hurt.
In b4 I'm not one of you because my life doesn't suck.
