Sushi general thread.

Has anybody tried eel? I heard it was really gross and I don't know if I'm going to try it.

The thought of eating eel is gross to me. It seems like eating brains to me, I don't want to eat it simply because the thoughts I associate with it don't sound appetizing.

rather than the sushi, try some unajuu.

of course if you're not in japan, don't even bother since you'll never get unagi that was caught in the wild and then killed and skewered and grilled over charcoal to your order.
best 30 bucks i've ever spent.

eels taste incredible. Not sure about sushi eels tho, it'd probably be hard to get rid of the slippery mucus they produce when prepared raw.
