I think he used to be better. He's always done nothing but churn out too-raw direct piano arrangements, but before he at least used to make longer and more pleasant tracks. I used to be pretty impressed by him, but the more I listen to other piano arrangers the more I realize that there's a lot more to piano music that what he makes of it. Other person here, I don't mind male vocals, but I don't like 709sec. at all. He articulates way to much, and the music is basically greasy, bad american rock. I don't mind Touhou goes american rock either, I've heard some decent tracks, but this guy overdoes it.

But who the hell knows, I will probably download it and listen to it anyway. I started enjoying Eurobeat and hip-hop because of Touhou and I never though I would enjoy those genres as much as I do.

Also, related to that, new Tamaonsen is one of the things I'm anticipating. I wonder if fromadistance will do anything, since they didn't release anything for C79.

Yes.

Anytime you have two kanji together, it's usually the first
kanji's on-yomi that you pronounce, the second one
usually remains the kun-yomi sound.

This doesn't hold true all the time, but it happens a lot.

The only circle I know of that actively does good/decent hip-hop with non-sample vocals is Tamaonsen, or 魂音泉 as it would be in moon. It depends on how picky you are, but I think they have some pretty good tracks. I'm assuming you either don't like them or don't know them?

It's not for everyone I guess, but I like the variational vocals. I like it when many different singers participate in songs. Their vocal girl, Tama, has done a few ballads and soul/pop songs as well, and most of them are good.

I'm sure there's other circles, and I have heard a few decent single songs here and there, but none of them so as good work as Tamaonsen, I think.

I live in Japan. I am a big fan of Touhou. Like always, I got the guidebook and was planning to go to this year's Reitaisai. Hell, I consider Reitaisai more fun and important than my own birthday. But honestly after this motherfucking 8.9 quake there is no way anyone in his/her right mind would go to waste time and money in a doujin event buying (mostly) porn.

Let alone moving around Tokyo for the next few day will probably going to be a nightmare.

Stopping the Reitaisai was a good decision.

Me too. I don't give a shit about ero doujin and will never even buy one. I was really looking forward TH13(and hopefully Mima), then derivative games and figures. The problem is that Reitaisai is 70%(or more) porn. If you have a guidebook you can easily check the facts.

Also yeah, at first I was most upset over Reitaisai being cancelled, but seeing now that my idea of the situation has broadened, it's become a rather small matter. Still though, I could have spent the weekend enjoying the spring weather while listening to good new music and playing /discussing the TH13 demo. Instead, I'm stuck with anxiety and worry for the world economy, possible nuclear disasters and what not. I'm quite frustrated, especially with all the other shit happening in the world right now. I want this to be a bad dream.

ended meeting up with some people from twitter and went out for syabusyabu.went back to tora and picked up marked two's new satorin book right before closing.

It was busy in the morning. It got better later on in the afternoon. Melon Books and Toranoana, and actually most doujinshi stores are vile in how they seem to turn on radiators and air conditioning off or something. That's why I usually skip them a few days after a Comiket.
