They're trolls, since Mokou told them ''I am immortal bitches you cannot kill me'' they started joking about it. It's natural Touhou dialogue and it happens with every other boss. Boss comes in, says something peculiar, after the battle Yukari comes and mocks the boss for that peculiar thing or something related to it.

Obviously the text and dialogue that refer to the core-story will (mostly) be influential or be related to the reveal of the story itself, what I referred to was that sarcastic sentences that are unrelated to the plot should be read the way they were meant to be read and not taken seriously.
