ZUN said that when someone wants to murder you or something their eyes turn red. And consider what Shikieiki says to Sakuya (you're losing your humanity or something) making her turn into a Yokai could make the person eyes turn red.

Either way I don't give a split shit about Youmu, all I want is to see which myth he will add in it and adapt with the Touhou plot. (inb4 Touhou have no plot)

And while I'm at it, I think you all forget he created the games to promote his music.
He doesn't give a crap about the characters, stories and all the fandom which is why he allows everyone to make profit out of it.

Given how popular Touhou has become by now he could live off licensing fees if he actually wanted to do something with them.

Funny you mention Disney, as Japanese anime was heavily influenced by his work. I see more of traditional Japanese art in ZUN's drawings. I guess that may be due to his use of colors and how the paints them though.
