Reminds me of a Dissidia a bit, but only limited to one plane of movement. This this is almost linear in theory, as that you're always facing your opponent, yet the game showcases a wide 3-D environment. Kinda lame too since you can't jump or descend to really give the feel of 3-D movement. This game is style over substance.... Not impressed really.

Also Sakuya without knifespam or Okuu without her trademark klaxon before she attacks, is a deal killer for me. Those are iconic within their respective characters. That's like Alice without her dolls, or Marisa without her Western Attitude, it feels incomplete. I'd hope this game gets more development and hopefully we won't see THIS without the basic functions of a 3-D fighter.

But... On a lighter note, just because it doesn't look like Final Faggotry, doesn't mean it's overall bad. The game looks slick and maybe with enough fan support and feedback, the sequel (If it ever comes out) will improve on what's needed.

I can dealwithit.dll being nit-picky is what helps developers tweak games to make even the small details shine. Now, the bigger question, will this be a PC release?

The deal break for me is that the danmaku is almost all linear from the looks of it. It needs more non-aimed danmaku like danmaku flying in all directions. In other words more interference to make the 4 player battles chaotic as hell.

Although it's faithful to the original game, it's kind of sad.
It might not be relevant if you can reach same the same speeds in any direction you fly, but I don't know that.

Another con is that you must stop while shooting master spark and the like.

It would be interesting to be able to add random spawning fairy for a different gameplay.

Finally, why no Flandre nor Kogasa?
