I started bottling 1 1/2 years ago when i moved into my students apartment. At first i was still going to the toilet every time, but then i found it more and more annoying to interrupt everything just to take a piss (especially when you're playing in a MMO-party or something like that), so i just grabbed a 1L bottle and squeezed the tip in to relieve myself.

Oh and with the time i even refined my technique: i found out, that it's always nessesary to have a little bit of open space between chinchin and the bottle to make sure the air inside can get out easily while you're peeing (if you don't do it, you're facing the danger to produce an overkill and lot's of piss on the floor/hands). Also it's wise to use fruit-juice bottles or large 5L ones, because their opening is bigger (sometimes i got problems to get inside, because of the narrow opening of a random bottle).

I did that with a Fanta bottle once, found it a few weeks later and thought I hadn't drank it. I was very disappointed when I did open it though, my nose was right near the cap, I heaved and then dropped the bottle all over my carpet.
