Finally cracked open my GSC Hitagi after having her sit around in the box for awhile. I wonder why I didn't open her up sooner, she is really nice.

Outside of that I have Saber Vortigern on pre-order and planning to pick up the Yamamoto Isoroku by Koto once I get my tax refund to finish up my Rance heroines shelf.

I'm interested in trying to construct and paint my own resin figures. I've looked at a bunch of tutorials online and I think I can manage it. I also like that there are a lot of kits for more obscure characters I love and are cheaper than the completed pvc figs. Has anyone on /jp/ had experience with this?

Pic related, since it might be the first GK I attempt to build/paint.

If I was awesome and had enough time to learn to get good at making 3D models with whatever software, I'd make my favorite characters and get them made from some site like shapeways.com (3D printing with various materials).

It's a bit pricey, but it might be enjoyable.
If anything, I'd be able to make something unique and interesting with my time.

Thinking about it; it'd actually be pretty damned cool, but it'd require me to get good at both 3D modeling and painting.

I think I'm only on the "straight edges and cubes" state, but that's probably where most people start.

ABS model kits feel so flimsy, and I dont need to move them, so I'd rather have a 1/44 Non movable PVC rather than gunpla. I'm so scared of them falling off and breaking into pieces. I guess it would take away the fun of building them though.

A bit of both, I can pass on figures of characters I have a attachment and I can buy figures of characters I know nothing about because I like the sculpt.

The worst in my case is "gotta catch then all" were I attempt to complete a line (such as the Venus on the Beach series) just to complete the line, (un)fortunately that is rare to happen as companies dont usually create a figure series.

I do like the pose and face though. I also like the price.

It's not the figure which have a shorter hair or a shorter Tie, the original model is made that way.
If you look at it that way it's a good figure. From all the miku models I really thinks this one deserves it's own figure, it's sill better than a Miku Bikini...

I've always loved this model : no sleeves and glasses. Also the price is more than decent considering how detailless she is. I think I'll get her, my VN02 feels lonely.

The LED ones you can buy for it are pretty dim. I gave up on them and just put a floor lamp next to it for the time being.

I've seen some people use cathodes and they look pretty good. I might do something with those and maybe back light them that way.
