Seriously, what the fuck, Kanji?
WHY
Why is it so complicated? Fucking masochistic fishheads.

Yeah, I know: this pic is hiragana. I'm too sick of looking at Kanji.

It's the most easy part of learning the language, you're just a lazy bum.

Yeah, yeah. I'm gonna learn it. But I think I have the right to be pissed about it, at least initially.

I'm not saying it doesn't take effort, but it's really not hard to memorize them.

you know, I've been thinking the same thing as you op and always hated the faggots who support kanji.

studied RTK1 and in the middle of core 2000, I begin to see what it means to be superior.

RtK is a great method to learn how to memorize and write kanji. Yes I'm aware that it doesn't teach you the readings, but those are rarely logical and should be learned within their proper context in sentences, which is much much easier if you know all the joyo kanji already. This is the reason why it's so much easier for a chinese person to learn japanese, since they're already familiair with all the kanji.

Fuck, I tried really hard reading it too. Thought I was just having trouble because I'm not used to reading pure hiragana, and that やらわん at the end reminded me of that slang shit I don't understand anything of.

RTK. Do it. There are hundreds of others who are in the same position as you.

You'll get used to it once you stop thinking, "Oh god so many lines." Reading a language with such a high frequency of homonyms without kanji would be terrible.

I'm not sure if I'm getting trolled or not, but 漢 has been used to stand for China for thousands of years in both Japan and China. The Chinese word Hanzi and Japanese word Kanji use the same characters, but it's not ateji. If you mean Kanji comes from Japan's failed attempts to import Chinese readings as onyomi, then yes, but it's not ateji in the same way something like 伊太利亜 is. If that's what you meant, then ignore me.
