I could, but the point of each is different. about 150,000 people died the day before, the day of, and the day after 9/11, but there were no sweeping policy changes because of it, no wars declared, no large shift towards a police state.

Then we decided that spending a trillion dollars on a war, reconstruction, and occupation was the best course of action and killed 10 to 200 times as many.

And that doesn't even touch on the fact that it was our foreign policy from decades ago that drove them in the first place.

I don't think I'd have a lot of stuff to help with if I wasn't able to at least prove that it would happen.
I probably wouldn't do anything in particular to stop the attacks.

The parts I'd enjoy the most would of course be the knowledge of the stock markets which I'd take out bank loans in order to exploit the markets as ruthlessly as I possibly could.
Then use the money gained to buy a piece of land, construct a house, and live there with Aya.

She could go to work normally at a newspaper or work as a reporter instead of the guys in helicopters and rake in money like that, but I'd just live out in the forest, taking care of the garden, and chill on the rooftop terrace.
