Why would someone play Imperishable Night with Slow Mode and 7 lives?

Do they even care about their score and replays?

This thread is going places.

7 lives is good for pratice, but slow mode wont teach you anything that will help you in a survival run.

I will never beat a touhou that isn't Imperishable Night on normal because of the life modifier.

Fuck your score and replays. I play it for fun, not for show off.

I've never showed off my score (I only play on Normal) (Nice dubs bro), but I still like seeing that I beat myself or the guy before me.

Except... survival runs in touhou aren't fun at all.

>> No.6962889

Max lives is good for someone that doesn't know what they are doing.

I didn't know that Imperishable Night had a slow mode.

And yet I still can't get past Hourai Barrage on lunatic.

Are you implying that Touhou has better scoring systems than bullet patterns?

Stating

No, it's just that it's more interesting to try to milk a pattern than just dodging it, as it's usually much riskier.
