I'm looking to play fate/hollow atraxia, but the translation isn't completed. Is there anyone who has played it with the current translation and can recommend whether or not I should wait for the translation to be finished, or to just jump right in?

I haven't, but a general rule of thumb in my opinion, is to never play a partially translated VN. How will you feel if you are deeply in love with it, get ~47% of the way through and the TL project is disbanded?

I haven't played the translation, but Hollow Ataraxia is made up of lots and lots of disjointed slice of life scenes only loosely bound by an overall plot, so I guess you could be fine with playing a partial.
