What if your computer systems turned into little youkai girls /jp/? You'd be the master of plenty of shikigami. What would your shikigami look like?

I think we need to create a hierarchal chart for this.

Traditionally shikigami are made out of paper, so would books count too? Book shikigami would be great. You could have, say, the Bible as a righteous moe~ angel-winged little girl dressed in white, who would constantly remind you that you'll go to Hell unless you accept Jesus as your savior, until you get fed up with her incessant warnings and rape her. Or Lemegeton Clavicula Salomonis as a deadpan loli with chalk writings all over her designed to contain the 72 demons sealed in her (what a slut), if you want to summon a Goetic demon you'd have to draw a summoning circle in her vagina with your semen. Or Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica as a haughty ojou-sama proud of the fact that she's the physics book to end all physics books, but she'd be a hopelessly old-fashioned girl with no idea about modern developments in physics (or anything else for that matter, she'd be scared shitless of planes and cars.) Or Burnham's Celestial Handbook as a shy girl who tries her best to act as your companion because she doesn't want you to follow her father's fate of dying alone in streets (Burnham was such a recluse that he isolated himself from his friends and family and died in poverty despite writing a classic in astronomy.)

You are a terrible master. I treat mine with care and make sure she's in great shape. I clean her case and dust her fans frequently. I make sure her hard drives are always at 0% fragmentation, and am with her every day. I've recently set up a home network with my consoles and my older PC's to be her onee-sama's, who I also make sure to take care of.

Well I have a laptop, but I don't want to break her while cleaning her. There's hair and whanot under the keyboard but I can't get it out because last time I tried, I broke the space bar. Strangely I take better care of my game systems, but I didn't before. I remember being a violent kid and my Game Boy Color has bite marks everywhere.

Buy a can of compressed air to clean out under your laptop keyboard. If you have a spaced out keyboard like I think you do anyways. Desktop keyboard you can clean up by removing the keys and popping them back in easily.

Same, due to the amount of time I spend in front of my computer, they get pretty dirty. I have a laptop I've been using for 4 years that was recently broken, she's fixable but I haven't gotten around to doing so. She has almost all keys missing (I type by pressing the rubber dome below the key) so I guess her clothing would be torn at places. Obviously there's also a great deal of hair, cat fur, blood, grape juice and peanut seed coats around.

Since I treat my laptop as an extension of my body more than a seperate device, does that mean I'll merge with my familiar and become a little girl, so that I'll learn to be a better master for her by sharing her pain and thoughts? I suppose we'd bicker a lot at first, but eventually our shared thoughts would ensure that we truly act as one individual.

Most of my desktops wouldn't be able to walk/speak/see/etc. Palmtop would have heterochromia (violet and red). Two laptops and a desktop would be dead/zombies. Their onee-sama would actually be a laptop.

Lets see... my pc is pretty big, so she would probably be tall. It has a sleek, simple case, so she would probably wearing elegant black dress with no frills - but since the inside isn't painted, her underwear would be plain white. There's a big but simple radiator on the CPU, so she'd have long, straight silver hair, with two fan-shaped ribbons on both sides.
Most of the specs are pretty high-spec, but my GPU got fried, and I didn't have cash to buy a high-end one again, and replaced it with a cheap one.
Since GPU is visuals, that means her eyesight would be pretty bad, and she would need glasses.
...I'm infintely okay with this.
