What VN would you recommend to a suicidally-depressed person if you wanted to push them over the edge?

Don't kill yourself at such a great point! You're like a blank slate now! You're no longer tied to anything, and you have no ambitions, so you can do anything you want right now.
Man up, and a whole new world will open up for you.

Please don't kill yourself. There has to be something you have to or want to live for. If not, we'll find something. It's a selfish request from me, I know. Just remember you're not alone in that regard of having someone you loved suffer a tragic death. Please just don't kill yourself.

Tsugumi's end in Ever17 actually left me depressed for a week or so before I worked up the courage to read the rest of the game.
I think that's the most a VN ever affected me.
Give it a shot.

>> No.6918107

You're in good company OP.
I'd say about 1 in 10 /jp/ users want to kill themselves, considering the portal to Gensokyo threads. While some users may jest about such matters, I personally know some people who post in these threads and are just tying up loose ends before they make their final post on /jp/

I doubt even 10 /jp/ers total have killed themselves since /jp/'s inception. There used to be a lot of depressed people on /jp/ (the ratio of non-depressed people : depressed people has increased tremendously over time), but I think very few people were actually resolved enough to kill themselves.

You really don't have any ambition? Then, why would you even bother considering suicide? To end your life means you do have expectations about it. I'd say your problem is just that. Remove your expectations, enjoy true freedom. Suicide is kind of bothersome, after all. And you probably don't have the guts to do it anyway.

I wouldn't bother, because if he really wanted to kill himself, he would have done so long before a VN got the chance to help him motivate himself. He's most likely just looking for attention. Which I could give him if he wanted. Sexual attention, that is.

I'm told through the mouth aimed at the bottom or middle of the brain stem is most certain.

Due to all the vital functions being around there, the bulk of your brain is reserved for higher functions and not really necessary for making your heart beat and lungs draw air. Shattering the brain stem is your best bet of severing those parts.

On another note, the DON"T DO IT brigade is here, that's how I know it's the weekend. Get a fucking life losers, stop annoying people who are tired of theirs. There's nothing more selfish than being a sink on society when you don't even want to be here.
