uh... that guy looks way too good.

--No beard
--Hair is not at least past his shoulders due to never going outside to get it cut
--Normal clothing; he's not even wearing shorts or pajamas. Why would you wear something you'd only wear to leave the house? Surely there are things more comfortable than jeans. Like nudity or underwear.
--The clothing he is wearing has no holes from being old and is pure enough in color to make one suspect it's been washed
--The jacket could go either way... He looks like he's just come from outside on the one hand, on the other it makes no sense for him to be wearing it and it looks bad so it fits
--He is actually wearing a watch. Why?
--He is not masturbating

other than that, it fits, i suppose.

Not quite right. The reason this is done is because the more and longer you wear something, the more it stretches to accomodate you and your usual activity and the more comfortable it becomes.

femanon here, but i can totally relate. the closest thing to pants i can stand are bloomers, and it's still not good enough; i just find the lack of free space between my legs disturbing. i always change back in pajamas as soon as i get home, they're just the best.

I mostly sit around in a silk robe.

I used to stay naked all day, but I somehow got a hold of a winning lottery ticket and decided to treat myself to something nice.

It's very worn out now, and I'm pretty sure most people would consider it unusable. Fuck 'em, it's perfect for all day wear, and with an air conditioner on (parents pay for that sort of thing) I can even sit around in it during the summer. I'm fairly certain the Japanese have a word for the cut of this robe, but I daren't say.

Jeans tend to cut off circulation to my legs after a while if I pull one leg up while sitting (it seems I have found what I can relate to in OP image), and sometimes the seam gets a bit too personal. Mostly I just don't like contaminating my room with the poisons of the outdoors.

In any case PJs are an excellent alternative, as are sweatpants (I think I have owned my favourite pairs for 14? 15? years now). I can't relax until I have descended into frump.

this is absolutely untrue if you get raw (untreated) denim, and with a bit of polyurethane you don't even have to wait for them to wear in. alternatively there are lots of materials like silk/cashmere/bamboo/modal(and even polyester) which also significantly contribute to comfort

taking it easy and being a slob aren't necessarily identical

>> No.6911474

>>6911395
Each to their own. I personally haven't found anything that compares to the comfort of sweatpants or flannel PJs. I also despise shopping for clothes, so I'm sure as hell not going to go out and look harder. The 'slob' bit (I don't really like the word choice, as I feel it implies some level of uncleanliness) is more psychological; wearing dumpy clothing makes me feel comfortable and happy. So for me, being a slob is almost a prerequisite for taking it easy.
