Flandre can't possibly be this violent. A lot of Touhou fanon is pretty ridiculous.

Well, no shit. Do I have to invoke black Tewi here?

she's having fun, so it's fine.
Besides, I don't think any of her victims really had time to feel pain anyhow, so it's still better than getting eaten by yuyuko.

That's what the rest of the SDM thought, too.

I suppose so, just interesting that people see it in a way that is pretty different to the one ZUN presents.

Some depictions of Flandre seem to have the opposite problem.

On another note I've always disliked that sort of art style.

>> No.6891911

The way her her spellcards play out and her dialogue always gave me the view of Flandre being the devious type of murderer. Not a simple rampaging pyscho, but a calculated and elaborate psycho.

The type of person to create complicated SAWlike deathtraps. Or create a closed situation and slowly murder off every person around while keeping the fact she's the murderer a secret right until the end. Or even setup some sort of cardgame where the lives of those who are playing are bet using some sort of bloodsystem like in Akagi.

The way the fandom took her always kind of left me disappointed. Flandre seems the type to play games and be playful. Simple violent murder is rather dull to be honest with all the fiction I've seen.

That doesn't hit any of the popular personality arch-types, so it is largely ignored.

If by fuck you mean Remilia rips Reimu apart with her bare hands so she can turn her into a mindless, lifeless, vampire shell of a person who will never leave her side... well, maybe you weren't that far off to begin with.

If you have not read Laughing Cresent Moon and you are interested in grimdark I suggest you download it and read it before reading this spoiler.

A little unfair for her. Who's going to get the first blame when people go missing? Certainly not the christmas vampire locked in the basement!

Really, the space you can explore in Gensokyo is incredibly large. I especially like doujins that could be made canon without really contradicting anything previously presented, whatever their take. Hell, who am I kidding, I like them all.

She wouldn't go about it in such a suspicious way.

She'd murder and leave evidence of others doing it.

She'd slip poison into Reimu's food after Sakuya cooked it making it seem as if Sakuya poisoned her.

She'd bludgeon Patchouli to death with Marisa's broom and leave it there while taking some books.

She'd beat Sakuya down with her bare fists and leave her body by the gate implicating Meiling.

Do it in a way as to cause suspicion on others while making it seem as if she were unrelated.

A shame such a story will never come to be.

Flandre isn't that violent, really. If she had the chance, she might be - but she's pretty much been locked in a sealed basement her entire life.

She does receive regular visits from Sakuya, somewhat irregular visits and from Remilia and the odd one from Patchy... none of them are dead yet. (Though she does like to "play" with Remilia.)

Overall she's pretty calm, but still horribly misguided. And insane, can't forget insane. So, shit happens - but she's cute, so it's fine.

While we're discussing Flandre and insanity, everybody who hasn't read this should do so.

>> No.6892177

>She'd beat Sakuya down with her bare fists and leave her body by the gate implicating Meiling.

You wouldn't be able to beat Sakuya to death though. You'd get one punch in and then time would stop, and when it starts again you've been buried alive.

>> No.6892258

Sakuya is the perfect maid. She won't go against her master's desire to beat her to death.

>> No.6892262

>>6892177
Not if you killed her with a single blow.

I'm fairly sure a youkai could do that to any human if the human wasn't expecting it.

Meiling should at least have the capability of being able to kill a human in a single strike being both a martial artist and a youkai.

Flandre being a vampire even moreso.

>> No.6892276

>>6892258
Remilia's orders to not die supercede Flandre's.

>>6892142
To elaborate a little on it, it's one of those elaborate doujins that dives into the past of the SDM to explain why how we got from destructive insanity to tea parties. Also good fighting; note Flan's cards.

>> No.6892318

>>6892262
Touhou fightan more or less tells us that Meiling is not able to knock Sakuya unconscious in one blow, even if that blow is a counterhit Roc's First in drizzle after both of them have eaten four control rods each.

I am aware that trying to extrapolate from game mechanics to the canon universe is an exercise in idiocy. Cut me some slack, I'm bored.

>> No.6892322

touhou fightan also tells us Sakuya can't really stop time to an useful extent, so yeah.

Luna Dial and Private Square are decent, though.
