I guess I would be excited.
I actully liked the first, and it was really interesting to play on the hardest difficulty.

But I might also point out that it will almost definetly be purely worksafe.
The author himself claimed how he never wanted to do Eroge to begin with, but he only did it because he was adviced to and because he needed the only backing he could get.
It's also why there were safe for work remakes of all of it afterwards.

Tears to Tiara sequel actually makes sense because the game ended right in the best part, everything was set up for a legendary showdown but it was cut right in the middle. I was expecting Pwyll and Arawn to go beat up some angels but fuck no, you put down the dinosaur Granzon and that's it.

Utawarerumono sequel is nice too, I hope we see more of Romano. He was one of those rare non-grating protagonists. Hopefully there'll be less rape on him and Oboro, though. Getting raped by Kamuy of all people was rather embrassing.

They didn't kill any angels, as far as I recall. There were 12 angels, one of them was an alright dude, the remaining 11 were asshats, Arawn was an apprentice angel training under that one angel who wasn't a fucktard. The 11 angels killed him (or he might have died to counteract the curse on humans, I don't recall that part much) and offered his position to Arawn, naturally Arawn was fucking pissed so he refused and started his plot against the heavens. This is also what made him soften a bit since he apparently had a stick up his ass previously.
