Err, ggs I guess. It looks like you're just starting out. You should read the wiki and learn a few basic combos. Also block when you're at a disadvantage, and try to graze out during the gaps between bullets and melee (recognizing these gaps comes with experience). Also it would be good for you to spectate/watch youtube match vids to get an idea of the flow of the game.

I was getting frustrated because even though I tried not to be too hard, NOTHING would complete. So I tried playing as fast as I can to see if I could complete any combos. Plus, I feel it's kinda disrespectful to another man to "go easy" on them.

Block stun refers to the time where you cannot stop blocking after correctly blocking an attack, you gots to do it really fast.

BEing is not always good, but once you get the hang of it, it'll save you bunches. Don't forget it fulls your remaining spirit too.

Yeah, I was being told before to use BE a lot more to get out of these really tight blockstrings, should definitely work on that.
Guess my carelessness with dash attacks and stuff are bad habits I picked up fighting the blasted CPU.

Well, practicing BE is much more better than not doing it at all, even if it fails. I'm yet to be at the level, required to use it.
And for that dash attack...lol, no, that's MY bad habbit of using 66+C, since CPU is weak against it. Noticed how I never used 66+A/B? Duh. Even though 66+C is the least combo-friendly and 66+A is a nice startup for many combos.
Btw, where can I find some blockstrings descriptions...since I know nothing, but random-mashing in the corner (well, except for (j.A+j.2A+j.B+j.C)^, which is not really a blockstring and is retarded, lol).

But your main mistake imo is that that you get in the corner to easily. Sometimes by yourself.
As for fps etc, I had next to no lags at all, probably, first time in netplay, thus I was able to play freely.

Like with Yukari, I was almost just trying some j5A j5B 66 j5A j5B (...) stuff.
Tried to input specials after 66B / j2A but failed again.
Oh and her j6A is weird, I can't understand this hitbox.

I never knew Komachi was this fun to play. Starting the third round by Dial-A to her lifebar halving 5card is really satisfying.

Patchy has some very interesting skills, like those swords suspended in mid-air. Looks like I'll pick her up next for practise.

Also, I feel I managed to get a bit of rust off my Aya, although I still drain myself of spirit a bit too often.

I only started playing yuyuko 3 days ago, her spirit attacks are just so brilliant. I like the delayed once the most cause they prevent the enemy from coming close and do their combo (forces them to defend against it).

I've only really used Miasma Sweep so I can't say, but it has a couple combos. The Dial A combo into Miasma Sweep is a easy corner one to learn, and outside of the corner you can do the melee combo into 66A into Miasma Sweep. You can replace Miasma Sweep with Radial Strike for ease of use, although the Miasma Sweep combo will do slightly more damage, although it's negligible. Both do about 2500 damage though so it's a nice combo to learn. For the most part I use Miasma Sweep as a reversal though, although I may be using it incorrectly, anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Bosky Sweeper should be used primarily during a combo. It should rarely be used alone or to start a combo due to the fact that it's grazable. Miasma Sweep is a move that is at its most usefulness when used alone, in anticipation of an enemy committing to an the use of an attack (B version for melee, C for bullet). While it has use in a few combos, you'll want to use it as a reversal/counter move.

If you like combos more and don't mind losing a reversal, choose Bosky. If you want a reversal type move that can get you out of tight situations, use Miasma.

Also as a little advice thingy, I'd advise checking out Stellar Missile. It seems underwhelming at first, what with not being able to combo into it, but you can do some cool things with it like cross-up tactics when opponents graze through it, and it helps a lot against some characters like Suwako.

Good games. Remi's crossup 236 is pretty deadly when you don't expect it. Of course, if you use it too much it becomes kind of useless. You should try using j2a more, it's great for crossups. Practice your corner blockstrings; you shouldn't be going half-way up the screen when you're doing 5C > j2C. Also, you should try not to mash when you're under pressure. It's best to just keep blocking until you can find an opening.

I just figured I'd try to make myself a bit more fun ( varied overall, next step will be an alt, I guess) to play against, so I created that deck. Great usage of Hell "Narrow Confines of Avici" and The Endless Way to limit my movement. Many times I could do nothing but block in the corner with no chances to escape.

There are some times you should graze more. For example, when blocking Youmu's j.5A j.6A j.6C you should graze the j.6C which will allow you to escape quite effortlessly.

Good games Tangent. I always try to backdash through the bomb a second too late. I think I should have used my green deck so that I could use timesslow's invincibility to get out of it. There's no reason why you should have gotten hit by j6A if you were blocking.
