If you are using tons of health potions you are just bad at the game.

My Ranger still hasn't used up all the level 25-35 potions yet and I have tons of Master HP/Strawberries just sitting there.

No, I've play a lot of F2P MMOs that don't do this. Ragnarok Online being a major example.
