Usually I like the serious and morally upright archetype.
Lately I've started liking a lot do M heroines though. Not the helpless kind though, the ones who can stand up for themselves enough but still "accept" or seek the protagonist's rough side. Which is exceedingly rare because most games where the main character is S and the heroine M are just rape/submission/breaking/disgrace games, and I like it consensual.

I like strong and fairly confident girls like Meiya,Tomoyo and Angela. It's nice to see the MC actually speak freely with a girl rather than biting his tongue on everything, and they also make GREAT rape fantasy material.

What more can a man ask for? As for favourite games mine are Kanon and ONE.

Yeah Imouto in Kusari is truly awesome, and I hate NTR/Unavoidable rape too. Thing is, the Villain guy is so interesting that you don't really mind him taking all the girls you don't care about. And really, the Imouto ending is a sight to behold.
