Were playing around with different concept art for the title screen. I'm going to try and animate the checkerboard layer and have it scroll at a diagonal direction. For that image were going for a television screen esq. feel.

I think it really says something when you-know-what tops this list at a mere 7.9 out of all the OELVN in the database. I'm also a bit surprised that Digital: A Love Story got such a low rating, but I have sneaking suspicion it's due to hipster fags who don't like that it was quite well received by the indie gaming press.

Here's a bit taken from the Wiki, don't know how up to date it is though:

>"Shock Cocoon" is a visual novel project conceived fall of 2007. Since its birth as a simple game design document, it has morphed into a full fledged effort joined by many skilled college students in and out of the State University of New York educational system. The first release will feature the relationship between the main male character and one of the female cast. Each following release will retell the story of the main character, but with a focus on a different female cast member.

>The events of Shock Cocoon take place in the fictional city of Utica. An unprecedented rise in heart related deaths in infants and males, coined "Years of Sorrow", forced the federal government to declare a state emergency, and quarantine the city. Nearly 2 years after the start of the quarantine, the city has turned from a once prosperous industrial center, to a ghost town. The last strand of hope for any young survivor of "Years of Sorrow" is a single university in the city's northern half.

Ya, I uploaded it to show that the issues we had with the user interface were eventually hammered out (Mostly for PyTom who offered to look over our options.rpy). I didn't think I'd have people would be stumbling across our website so early on in the process.

The plot summary from the Wiki is rather old. I should write up a better/more up to date one sometime this weekend if people are gonna be browsing our site.

If people wonder about the flavor of our visual novel;

Psychological thriller, horror, conspiracy theory, paranormal.

Listening to Coast to Coast AM all these years helps with thinking up plot devices.
