They're very similar, but Mei Shoujo and subsequent Tanuki Soft games went down the love path instead of the deviant one. Each game has less and less extreme sex scenes (with the exception of pregnancy endings and a bit of waterworks that always stay), with Shoujoujo being basically a pure love game.
