If you think about it, SHIKIS father most of been a fucking terrifying man to be able to kill a whole family with the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception, that is if the nanaya familly all had it. I really cant wait to see that battle if its gonna be in the new vn.

Nanaya family didn't have the MEoDP. Only Shiki, and thats only AFTER he was adopted by the Tohno family and was stabbed in the chest.

He also had a sword that was traced by Rin in order to fight Sakura.

Zelretch has a cameo appearance in which he rescues Rin from stigma in the Clock Tower.

No, no. Mahikisa didn't kill the Tohno family, that was Kishima Kouma. And Kouma did appear in both Kagetsu Tohya and Melty Blood.

Also, Zelretch doesn't ever appear outside of secondary materials, excepting the small cameo in Fate/stay night.

Shit, I just realized I made another typo. Kouma destroyed the Nanaya family, not the Tohno.

Kouma had a grudge against the Nanaya family because Kiri gouged out one of his eyes when he was a child. Tohno Makihisa used Kouma to destroy the Nanaya family, and he adopted Shiki as his son.

alright, i just read up on Kouma, dang i was kinda wishing it was SHIKIS father because they made him soound like a fucking insane old man with amazing powers in Tsukihime. Just how strong was Tohno Makihisa? what powers/was he powerful enough to kill of the nanaya family by himslef if he really wanted too? also on a side note who was Tohno Makihisa wife? do you ever see or her about her? Im asking this because ahika never talks about her mother.

We don't really know much about Makihisa other than the fact that he was batshit crazy. He was probably powerful, because he was the head of an oni clan, but not powerful enough to take on Nanaya Kiri (which is why he was forced to employ Kouma). We don't know anything about his wife.

Outside of Tsukihime and Melty Blood, no. She is the protagonist of Mahoyo, however, and that is due to be released any time now. So far we know that she inherited the Fifth True Magic from her grandfather, and was chosen to be the successor instead of Touko for unknown reasons. Because of this, Touko holds a grudge against her. Presumably her back story will be cleared up in Mahoyo.
