Select each character's page. The gifs are the first things you see at the top right corner.

Eh, just wanted to throw it out there if anyone's interested or wanted to play it a few times before buying it or just to challenge somebody.

Fair enough. It's always good for the scene to play in person, anyway. You're doing a justice.

Be wary, it's full of hardcore gamers.

Also afterward you can hit up some stores that sell gunpla/statues, random anime stuff at the Elizabeth Mall in Chinatown.

No prob, but as I warned >>6826469 the people there pretty much devote their lives to playing these games and that arcade in renowned for serious challengers.

Just a word of caution for anyone new to the game and may get discouraged after "a regular" joins in.

whatever you do, stay away from the more mainstream games like SSF4. for the moment AH3 will be safe but give it enough time and rape patrols will be all day everyday.

going to the arcades is like signing your pride to the slaughter house. many times i come home wishing didnt play that game in the first place.

Seriously. It's not like you're up against the Japanese players.

America is trash at every fighting game it plays besides maybe one or two which I won't mention.

Well, I suppose the SF4 players aren't as far behind these days as, say, the BB and GG players.

>> No.6827290

the only thing i really hate if i get mowed down by pros, is they trash talk (disrespect) the opponent after beat down. its quite a turn off.

>> No.6827299

>>6827290

This is what's most annoying. Little fat kids and aspie fucks flip the fuck out.

"Good game" is the perfect statement at the end of every match, because it works both ways... if you raped someone hard then it's kind of sarcastic or simply could mean "good game.. for me", but it also works as a nice compliment to the loser or works as a "yeah, that was practically a draw honestly" if it was close.

>> No.6827310

>>6827290
At the arcades or online? I find them to be quite polite IRL just like pretty much everyone outside the fetid cesspool called the internet.

>> No.6827322

>>6827299
well, there are ways to say, if the match was one sided. lets say, the loser says " thanks for the match!" champ says" no prob!". its not a good game, but it ended in respect and admiration. players like that are the best.

>> No.6827345

>>6827290
I know that feel, and I wish I didn't.

Last Saturday. After beating me pretty badly the first round, my opponent was arrogant enough to let his friend switch in his place (in front of no less than 15+ people, too). I had been watching people play while waiting for my turn to get up there, and this kind of thing didn't happen between any other players. His friend kicked my ass (pretty easily, too) but I expected to be treated with the same amount of respect everyone else had, even if my skills weren't on their level yet.

>> No.6827391

I always see a bunch of niggers clumping up the arcades. Is there a correlation between them and fighting games?

It's one of the best fighters out there. It's also fairly balanced and easy to get into but will forever stay poverty outside Japan. Mostly because people have trouble taking it seriously.
