Not op but jp was my last resort too, I am about as hardcore "loser" as can be, collect figures and dolls, spend majority of my time reading VNs. 3rd year in uni and minoring in japanese, studied in Japan and everything. I also play and watch sports too, and go out drinking on occasion, but I have only 1 (kinda self absorbed asshole) friend that I can be fine with talking about magical girl shows like prettycure, miku, and/or VNs. When /jp/ is normal I really feel like most of you are the same, 22+ year old guys and girls with personality issues who enjoy life, but find it hard to think about the future so instead talk about cute little girls and plot twists/plot holes in games .01% of english speaking humans have played, and maybe play a game of mahjong or talk about music.
