Hi, /jp/
I've been saving up money and now I can take a trip to Japan with a friend for two weeks. We are not your typical otaku neckbeards. My friend is a vegan, dreaded out, pot-smoking, rock climbing chick and I am a fangirl, otaku, wifey, rock climbing chick.
How can I meet people in Japan who rock climb so that we can do some sick bouldering in Japan? I'm not sure how to find a penpal with this interest. My understanding of nihongo is like warui at best and my tomodachi is zenzenwakaranainohito. HALP? In return I can post some cool climbing photos(from our last trip to HP40).

Also, where to nail cheap tickets?

Where the fuck do you see "post threads about Japan and traveling" in the title of this board, OP?

ここはOtaku Cultureの板である。
もしかしてお方さんは/int/ - Internationalの板と/trv/ - Travelの板をごアクセスして方が良いでしょう。

>> No.6802816

Dear, this is the last place you should be asking the question - this board isn't about Japan itself, much less travel advice - it's about assorted Japanese fringe consumerist bullshit, crossdressing and anal masturbation, and sometimes Russian video games about tanks(don't ask).
Not to mention, coming here and specifically saying that you're not "your typical otaku neckbeards" and expecting people to help is pretty silly, not to mention rude.
Please, do go to /trv/, eventually maybe /a/(they are the ones who have the people who actually want to be Japanese), and good luck with your trip.
