/jp/, I need your help. I've never had a waifu before, because whenever I think about dedicating myself to a single girl, I feel ashamed and embarrassed and back off from it immediately. However, I always liked Reimu, Tenshi and Reisen above all other girls. Reimu because I think she's kickass, and everytime I look at her I remind myself to take it easy, which seems to be the only thing driving myself to calm down in the stressful days of my current life. I like Tenshi not because of her apparent masochistic personality of her corndog eating tendencies, but because of her spoilish and tsuntsun personality, which I find cute. I like Reisen because... well, I really like Reisen.

I know it's shameful to dedicate myself to so many women and I should just settle in with a good waifu that will stay by my side on the snowy days. When I mention those character qualities, I am, of course, talking about their fanon personalities. Rest assured, I have played the games and know very well the differences.

I also seem to like Irisu. I seem to like cute bunny girls all around, but above all else, Irisu. Her loneliness and sadness are a fuel that burns my soul, and when I see her I just want to hug her.

If push comes to shove, I'm willing to make Rinnosuke my husbando and fap to yaoi Touhou doujinshis until the end of my days.

So help me choose here, /jp/. I believe if I hear your opinions, see your waifus and the reasons you like them, I'll be able to reach a more accurate conclusion.

Choosing any of them based on anything but your preference would be pathetic.
Either claim all of them as your waifus(yes, that's quite fine, the western misconception that you only can have one waifu is silly), or wait until you realize which one truly matters to you.
I have had many, many 2D girls I liked, but the one I reluctantly call my waifu sneaked up on me utterly unexpected - one day I just couldn't stop thinking about her anymore. The way I feel when I think about her is the closest I felt to being in love in years, ever since my first and only real love.
But to make choosing easier, if you only like a character because of particular traits and not as whole, you probably don't like it enough.

Take me for example, Hatsune Miku is my waifu. The way it turned out wasn't really expected. It started out with a friend sharing "The Disappearance of Miku." At first, all I thought that it was a pretty crazy track. It wasn't until after I read the lyrics that I actually felt the theme of the song. The loneliness, depression and desire to love I could sympathize with and before I knew it I was completely infatuated with her.

Sure, Miku is probably too popular for a lot people so I'll get a lot of gripe from faggots but I still love her.
