I can't find a starter/idiot's guide to violated heroine. It seems people assume you've played it before. I don't even understand basic controls. I know about this site

but I don't know even how to look up Nanako's stats. I tried using AGTH and it works fine but unless I understand what buttons I'm pushing do I can't get very far.

For instance how do I see stats like

All I get are the choices to use an item, change her stance, equip an item, save the game, or quit.

Am I using the wrong version of the game? Do I need to install patches or something? I like the game so far and I can understand some of the game through AGTH but I just wish I knew what I was doing.

I'm sure we have an archive for it too. What would you suggest as a search parameter? "Violated Heroine" produces a thousand threads mostly from people answering questions about what games they're playing or what are you doing now /jp/?

Some questions.

Is there a way to spend the night somewhere other than the inn?

Where is the doctor's office?

Now that I found out I have a home I found where my babies are. If I breastfeed my slime larva/child it grows up some but once I go out of my house it resets them.

Hmm, the cities I know about are the one to the west/south west, the witches house, the mining city/rock city/mountain city to the north, and to the east there's an inn and a city guard at a wall that won't let you further.

The most recent version is VHゲーム０１_101226 I think. You get to the "New City" by buying a the ticket (7000 gold) from the item shop in the starting city. Then you follow the dirt path at the southern part of that town to an area where you can talk to a guard to let you on a ship. The ship will then take you to "New City".
