Hello, /jp/. Newfag at the Japanese language here, but I'm learning and I thought you could help a bit.
I have a few basic questions.

1. What's the difference between desu, imasu, and arimasu? When do I use each?

2. When do I use "ga" instead of "wa"?

3. Does は ALWAYS make the "ha" sound unless it's used for indicating the subject? Why does it mean "wa" only when indicating the subject?

desu/deshita/de end a sentence while ka/no are question markers
imasu/iru represents existence for living, while arimasu/aru represent existence for inanimate objects.

wa/ga/he/ni depend on context.

It just does. Get the fuck out.
