No, this is without switching. I can't even figure out how to combo into stuff like that, but in matches against the computer it ends up like him pulling off his SP2 move once and then just completely going all out for another 20 moves with no chance to actually block. No switching at all.

It might be because I'm using a horrible D-pad that hurts my thumb or the fact that my current laptop is complete shit, but whatever. People who say Ronove is shit obviously haven't been smacked in the face with Elegant Cutter yet, which the CPU doesn't really use. He also has great range/combo potential on his normals. He doesn't have specials to combo with, but his damage potential is still good if you are willing to burn an SP2 attack. His flaws are awful approaches and the worst meta super ever. His ABC counter moves aren't really worth it but his EX counter is great. Enchant Shield is great for closing space and C version is great for starting combos, but to set it up you usually need to get a knockdown first. I have no idea what the dodge and rose 623 attacks are for.

But yeah, right now there is nothing stopping a patient Ronove from turtling in the corner waiting to Elegant Cutter you since mixups are almost nonexistent in this game.

The only unlocks are announcer voices. Those are unlocked by beating story mode either with certain sets of characters or you unlock the voice of the lead character, not sure which since I've only bothered with Eva's. Unfortunately, they don't speak in character, it's just that character's respective VA.

Looking into the data files has revealed a portrait for Bernkastel and a character name for Rena, but that's all the related data currently present. Presumably their for a future patch.

Video doesn't show how Lia can hit people out of all of those Gungnir counters with a well timed Odin Meta Super (except maybe auto-guard dashes). Yes, it can even punish Assault Touches since it places Lia high enough to avoid the barrier. I don't think she can hit Ange out of See You Again either, but Odin will probably cause it to miss anyways.

Lia with more SP + meta than you is freaking scary. If she has enough SP to burn on EX Goats you are going to be stuck in that corner FOREVER. Lia without meter is pretty crappy though.

Totally away from the direction of conversation, but I just discovered dash neutral jumping. That shit is handy as Siesta 410, since it allows you to cross people up. Setting up wakeups with the 63214C arrow and dash neutral jump crossup j.C actually seems pretty angry now, since it's pretty easy to just stop and do a normal straight up and down jump.
