There are a few possibilities here.

Even Battler suddenly says "Oh that Lambdadelta character; she was really that cake over there!" which is ridiculous and amazingly implausible.

Or; Yashiro/Touya says it, meaning she's fucking psychic, or has kept the cake around for a very long time and written it into the stories as a character(WTF).

Or, it shows us an image of a cake that looks exactly like Lambda, in which case we should have an image of it. And even then, it could be a cake in the image of Lambda, not the other way around. Or just a cake.

It could be Narration, but No Meta characters can confirm Lambda is a cake since THEY DON'T EXIST.

There is no viable way Umineko 8 could have communicated the idea that Lambda is "really" a cake. We never saw any evidence for this, it was just a comment from one anon.
