Shannon and Battler say they're in love etc but if they decided they were in love in 1979... then Battler was only like 10 years old, right??
how could george be saying that when he left the family in 1980 that he was leaving the nest? He was just a little kid!
and what is shannon talking about when she says she's going to go live on her own and get married?! She's even younger than Battler!!!

wouldn't she have been like 3 years old when she first started working as a maid??
