Playing with the 50% QC patch thing, I think it's pretty good -- I chuckled and lol'd at some parts and it's really, really cute. Haven't read a lot -- so far I'm in chapter 2 of Putina route but I've enjoyed what I read so far.

By the way, can anyone give a rough trans of the config menu -- just the items on the left.
First option is for Fullscreen and Window mode, how about the rest?

Learning some kana will get you far in VN's.

Below window mode is text display speed; the middle option's fast(er), I assume left = slow and right = instant.
Below that is the suto-scroll option, wihth the same options as the one above it.
Out on the option below that; although VN experience tells me it's about the seen text.
Below that is text skip, and you can choose to skip everything or only stuff you've seen already (right and left options respectively)
Below that is some option about the message window, the right option is the 'non' version of whatever the left option is.
Don't get the last option, something about 'voice' or voicing though. left is confirm, right is un-confirm.

Obviously, clicking a girl will toggle her voicing.
Below that is the font option.

There's no forced license whatsoever on TLWiki (only the FTA ( http://tlwiki.tsukuru.info/index.php?title=FTA ), which says nothing about ownership), so default copyright law applies (basically, everything you write is owned by you by default). In the case of the Osadai project, there were only four people working on it, and they were in good contact with each other, so it was easy to 'track down' everybody on the project.

Moogy, the site's owner, doesn't get anything from this license, as he doesn't have anything to do with the project. The agreement to sell the fan translation to JAST was made after everybody on the team agreed, and all money involved will go to the people who worked on the fan translation.

It's not as much 'TLWiki selling their translation to JAST' as 'a fan translation team selling their translation to JAST'. TLWiki just happened to be the site that hosted the translation.

(Note: I haven't been a TLWiki admin for ages, so don't take my word as representative of TLWiki, I just happen to know what's going on.)

Small warning about that patch.

There is an error in it early on in Ran's Route which prevents causes the game to be unable to move onto the next line of dialogue. I was going to try and fix it myself but the wordwrap tool necessary for english to be displayed properly apparently wrecks editability, so I can't. I think I'd need the translated .ks files for her route to even attempt to fix it (someone in the weekly update thread did say they had all the files, but I don't know what came of that). It also doesn't help that I've never actually tried to do anything technical with kikiriki's files before.

All other routes are fine at least, there's a minor comment in Irina's route which pops up right before a choice, but that's all that's wrong with it elsewhere.
