How is Yasu not supposed to be a male eunuch between the description of the phone callers voice and the flashback where he laments being incapable of love?

If he is a male eunuch, wouldn't his voice sound more female than male? I'm sorry, I'm no expert on these topics.

As for your second question, female reproductive organs can be damaged, too. With a fall like that at such a young age, it's not unthinkable.

The callers voice was described like an odd boy's voice, if you lose your testes your voicebox never changes while the rest of your body get larger.

As for girl losing her genitals from a fall, its plausible but it doesn't seem to sync quite as well with the gender identity issue hovering over the story (girl with a disfigured vagina being raised a girl vs a boy with a disfigured penis being raised a girl).
