Dear /jp/,

I'm just done with this game. Overall, it was above average. Not as good as Sharin, full of glaring plot holes, won't leave a message that will change my life, but still entertaining nonetheless. The ending made me cry like the little girl that I am, but besides that nothing was noteworthy for me, except maybe the first Haru sex scene that was so damn funny. I'd like to read the thoughts of my fellow english-only VN players if possible, so would you mind sharing yours? I don't mind if you can understand Japanese actually, I just want to know if I'm weird.

It was like watching a good movie.
It didn't have any DEEP message or anything but it did fucking entertain me.

So yeah I liked it a lot, I could probably find lot of flaws if I was to look a little deeper but why would I do that, sometime you just need a shallow but entertaining experience.

Hiding thread to avoid spoilers

I don't see any spoiler. The biggest spoiler here would probably be the picture. Saying that there's a Haru sex scene or that the ending is sad aren't spoilers.

I agree completely with you. And that's exactly what made me like Sharin more, the whole society thing really left a mark on me. G-Senjou is the kind of game that I'll just forget after less than a month. I don't like movies because of this same reason, the lot of them have no real content, just shooting and/or bawling.

In the very end, I derped how the protagonist is FACELESS after all

Are you sure? I think there were a few CGs with his face, but then I might be mistaking him with Maou.

Same, that annoyed me

You missed the epic stair climbing or something?

He was faceless during that too.

Basically, Kyousuke was faceless in every CG up until the moment before that in the burning building, when he resolves to go save Haru and his face comes into focus in time with the BGM otoko no hanamichi. It was a nice dramatic touch, but then they ruin it by having him faceless again in every CG after that still. If they kept him with a face it would have been a cool little touch to the story.

I'm a sucker for self-sacrifice and devotion. I cried like a bitch.

Kyousuke lacked Kenichi's manliness. I was disappointed. I still cried like a bitch.
