Not exactly. Well, it sort of is but not in the way most people say it is. It's a way people use to tell themselves that Yasu was justified in her wait for Battler. It makes the entire thing into a tragic misunderstanding instead of the more painful misinterpretation of feelings.
I like George a lot, but I don't get upset by the hate. For one most of it is just kidding around. Secondly, I like Yasu better and find all the indignation on her behalf sort of endearing.
I don't think there was a letter, but I do think George was deliberately trying to hurt Shannon by misinterpreting her question and deliberately rubbing it in that she had been forgotten, which is just as mean spirited and cruel as hiding a letter in the first place. George's pursuit of Shannon started out from a very ugly, jealous place where hurting her for not falling all over him was more important that helping comfort her when she was so miserable it was all she could do to hold back her tears. He noticed her pain. He knew what it was about. And he was in the unique position to act as a bridge if he chose to. Instead her started kicking her when she was down in hopes of making her so miserable that he could swoop in. Which he did.
Let's not pretend George is a saint. If he was, I wouldn't like him as much.

On the one hand, I know that. And most of them don't know that what they subscribe too is called agnostic atheism. On the other, they really do get off on it and are viewing the situation with a warped idea of the chance behind it, when they hold atheists as equal to agnostics.

The problem with religion is not so much the belief in a god as it in the belief in a god who has laid down books of strict rules that you must follow. There is an argument that it's to teach morality, but the old testament, which the three largest religions of the world have base in, is famously immoral, and morality existed as its own, intellectual study long before it was ever linked with religion. Now, someone who says "I KNOW god doesn't exist" is being pretty irrational, but they're far from someone who says "I KNOW god exists, this is all about him, this is what he wants us to do, we must do this".

For some reason, Bern continues to be my favorite character. I don't know if it has some connection to the sympathy I felt for Rika, but when I look at Bern, I can't help but feel sad for her.
Plus, her sadistic side is very entertaining to watch as well. No matter what you do, she's always three steps ahead of you.

I don't think she's evil just for the sake of being evil.
She's experienced a hell for over a 100 years, and only her "original" self got out of it. To Bern, she's still in that hell. Being sadistic and cruel is the only way to cure her boredom.
I just find it interesting that for once, a villain can be right, and have the upper hand. I understand she's showing only the bare bones of everything, but even that has some truth in it.

I think she was effective in EP7 but not particularly interesting. The entire series probably would have been better without Erika, because having her around just made Bern look like an idiot, but Ryukishi needed someone that Battler and Beato could beat before the series ended.

Is just her "I'm cruel, ahaha.wav witches are cruel ahaha.wav I only care about not getting bored" got old to me back on EP4. and she doesn't change a thing in her trolling since then, only intensifies it, but it's the same shit.

Thinking back on it, I can agree with you on how some may find it to be repetitive. Out of the two, Lambda is much more neutral, but I have a feeling she might be the most cruel, or have a plan up her sleeve. After all, Lambda created this game just to trap Bern again.

I've never heard of that before. That wouldn't make much sense consider Lambda put Bern through the first hell, why would she try to repair that? Lambda may seem to put on a carefree act, but she's just as cruel as Bern. I don't think she wants to change Bern.
