If anyone's still playing the Japanese version (benefits include a surprising lack of insufferable retards), the current event involves prize boxes that you can get by the dozen and give you a random item when opened, varying from tune up items and Wonder Bits to fully assembled robots (all parts 3-slotted too) and Garapon-only weapons/accessories (those have 2 slots but who cares, they're Garapon weapons).

There are also highly increased EXP/UC/Drop rates and 3 Rt events that have been going on for a while.

1. 50Rt for 60,010UC conversion. That has been going on for months since our poor GMs kind of suck at their own game.
2. If you fight 50 Arena battles during the weekends, you are awarded 30Rt.
3. If you are in the top 3 for any award category for the week, you get another 30Rt. Grab a hundred or so Repair Bits and shoot for Best Support.

The aforementioned prize boxes also hand out Rt and there's the UC Garapon, which can also reward you with Rt. Effective conversion rate for UC Garapon is pretty low, expect 1Rt for about every 8,000UC. On the positive side, it gives you a lot of good robot parts and a lot of tune up materials. You probably want at least 20 or so Accelsaber AMs so that you can break them to your heart's content while tuning up.

Her booster is awesome, though the Garapon version is even better. Stick the LG to any AIR bot and enjoy having an extra 600 damage for free. There's practically no way to dodge Izuna wisps if the people you are aiming are on lower ground and they aren't running, so it's great for catching ARTs, which for some reason love flopping around with their 8 FLY and getting hit for 60 damage per salvo.

When you use seraph promotion, it deletes your old crimrose core and gives you a new full seraph crim bot. All the old parts(that's not the core or head) will stay within your inventory.

There's no slot difference because crim head and core doesn't have slots.

Playing a 30v30 against WIZ and these same few players just keep sending out jikun after jikun, lagging through the floor and tying up half the team trying to kill them. Are you talking about bazookas? It's debatable whether or not they're cheap on AIR.

However, they do require good aiming skills. I use it alongside my beam weapons and the beam weapons are much more forgiving than the bazooka when it comes to aiming.

If someone wanted an easy to aim weapon, I'd recommend the wide beam gun, not a bazooka.

The way I play air there isn't any art around. For instance on Green Field I camp on the platform right in front of the enemy team's spawn with the air launcher thing . If an enemy air with a bazooka caught me there and I didn't have a bazooka to fight back I'd either get stunned long enough for someone to respawn and then kill me or have to run away instead of standing my ground. Bazooka's might not be the best all around weapon but they win air-to-air so handily that you can go on to circle strafe their arts while air looping missiles/tail wisps/sound balls and taking no damage or lurk around their trees waiting for someone low on health to kill.

I don't have problems with destructor. They may be tanks but they are slow tanks, easy to take out even singlehandedly. When you suck one into your group with Winny it just fucking melts. Well, when you suck anything into a group with Winny it melts. I think Winny is probably the most OP for that reason (drawbeam), followed by lagbots that melee spam and warp all over the place.

Izuna booster is a pretty okay subweapon - it has good range, speed, homing and you don't need to care about aim. I had a Lily with 40 FLY in pre-wipe, it was really fun. I don't think people appreciate FLY on an ART bot. I guess this might just be me, but I find the mini bazookas really hard to aim. Especially when we get into a turning battle. I'm just a terrible shot or something. Izunas have way too much HP for me to handle even with bazookas landing every shot. I've actually sneaked up behind a grounded Izuna and unloaded my bazookas with hyper shot and she still flew away with HP left. So you can imagine how much worse it gets when we get into a turning fight.

There's this one player from Everything'sfine that has that sort of Izuna with bazooka and totally kills my AIR bot ALL the time, even if I had a bazooka.

So from my experience, even though I cannot do it myself, there's no doubt that bazooka will always get the most damage. Even so, I still prefer my beam guns because I'm not at that level of play.

Bazooka unloads MUCH faster salvo damage in a shorter space of time, actually, so I find even if the opponent has blast guard, I can unload a heavily damaging full salvo into his backside if he's stationary. I can't do that with only beam guns, because they fire for longer periods of time to average out their damage, and by then they will turn around and shoot ME in the face with a bazooka or missile. Does anyone know the exact drop rates of items from the bosses like Berzelius? I looked at the jp wiki but it doesn't seem very conclusive or coherent

At least, that's what happens to enemy air when I use my destructor. When a jikun goes for me, I jump over it, and then it usually runs off after you or something. This leaves me to shoot at all the lovely air targets while you distract the Jikuns.

I don't see how that happens if you stay behind your own team's arts while shooting the jikuns

Fuck you. I jump over the jikuns then turn around and shoot them while they're going after the other art, then jump over them again when they come for me, repeat. Although it works better in my Maril, my destructor carries a vulcan to kill Lnds while I jump over them. I never just ignore a bot that's fucking up my team. So I have to agree with >>6662841 , you sound like you're scoreboard whoring instead of helping your team win.

If they're the only target available, sure I'll help, but I only stock missiles, and those work better at range. Missiles don't do massive damage to land and mostly miss, so I've got a decent excuse.

Better to free up our air from dogfights then distract enemy arty so the air units can help us with the land raiders faster than try and deal with that land faggot while half my team blocks my shots. Besides, anything that costs the enemy BP while leaving me alive and not costing BP is helping the team in my book. The only problem is if I overextend and get gangraped, but I try to move with others to stop that.

Either Jikuns are in our artys' faces meaning they're distracted and the enemy arty can advance, meaning EVERYONE gets shot up by enemy arty, or Jikuns are advancing, and trying to take them out beforehand get us shot up.

Simply put, the only casualty free way to deal with lone land units is to have a couple of screening units hold back enemy arty and air while the rest of the team shoots the fuck out of the land units. The fact that the screening force often either gets massive amounts of kills or dies like stuck pigs is for the team's sake! Not for scoreboard whoring. Marils need their reload time, after all, that's what we're there to give you.

It's because the rank up rewards have changed in JPCB since the version that was used as the base for the last beta, so all the messages changed too, and whoever was gathering up all the files for translation forgot to mention that they'd all need to be re-translated... or, to be more accurate, re-written, since the English version has yet another different set of rank-up rewards that don't even match the ones the current Japanese text is designed to go with...

I guess I'll grind for more tune up materials. Maybe I'll succeed one some day. I swear I've tried at least 20 High Boost Beta tune ups and they all failed. I still don't have any of my air bots at 30+ fly yet. It's getting annoying to not be able to chase or outrun anybody.

Alright.

What you need is two bots with
- 3-way Dagger
- Shotgun
- Dual spike/dual axe/sword-axe bits

What is good to have but not 100% necessary
- A third bot with normal melee weapon
OR
- Ace braver AM/Jikun LG/etc on the above bots
For the blue form (shield). You can depend on the melee bits without these, but if something fucks up it can cost you a game over.

It's also better to use cheap bots, as every 100 cost points adds 1 second of penalty time when you die.

It's always better to stop attacking and dodge than get in one more hit and die.

Also, use the WB activation/deactivation invincibility to avoid attacks.

Use the shotgun whenever you're too far to use the dagger.


However, you can still get fucked over by the retarded teleport mechanic, like getting teleported to the other side of the map when the blue form shield goes down. 3 times in a row.
