Tomoyo’s route tore me apart so badly that I haven’t been able to play Clannad VN for two months. Even trying brings back memories and I feel like crying.

Am I too ronery /jp/?

I think of Tomoyo everyday by playing her crappy theme song in my iPOD. So I guess you're not too alone my friend.

Her theme is the best, and the strongest of all in the OST

Guise, do yourselves a favour and get the Tomoyo After soundtrack. Trust me on this one.

>> No.665741

Wow, my opinion of /jp/ anons just plummeted.

AGAIN.

>> No.665856

The ending for the Tomoyo route did nothing to me because it was so expected and the song was shit.

What got me crying was the Yukine, Misae and Sunohara siblings routes (manly tears of course). As much as I love Clannad, the fact is the minor characters are better than the main characters.

Tomoyo, Kotomi and Nagisa+After are easily the best route in Clannad, Sunohara and Misae's route are good but not at their level.

I didn't get sad in any part of the VN except for Fuuko's true ending. I was borderline bawww but the happy ending cheered me up

>> No.666090

That's because Clannad isn't really supposed to be sad, it's a Happy Tears kind of VN.

yeah unlike Kana: little sister. I played that game once and have never touched it since. even though i thought it was brilliant it made me cry for like an hour. the route where she dies and it snows outside of the hospital room is just heartbreaking.

>> No.666104

Tomoyo was not sad in any way for me.

that, or you empaphise with characters too heavily, but I guess thats the point of playing VNs. Youre not alone, after Kyou's route I was shellshocked for about a week, and havent played since.

If you didn't cry during Clannad, you are not a human being.

>> No.666185

>>666178
Clannad didn't make me shed a single tear. Planetarian made me tear up though, so maybe that counts.

That scene made me cry like a bitch for some reason.
I never cried before during the game though I really liked everything but that scene completely killed me.

>> No.666224

I liked the fact that it didn't try to be as dramatic as something like Air.
Also I loved Tomoyo's route, especially because it was so "normal".

>> No.666528

The number of scenes where I was in phase with the emotions in Clannad is over 9000.

It made me cry all kinds of tears. Happy, manly, girly, bitchy.

And it wasn't totally a nakuge. I think that's why I'm not so hyped for Litte Busters. I wonder how can they top Clannad in fact.

>> No.666531

I didn't cry at Planetarian.

Maybe I killed my emotions along with my nerves.
