Probably Ace because he's the only one who retrieves the knife and 9 bracelet in every game. He can fake his death easily, with that shit he injected himself with earlier.

No. That's why he panicked and just thought of a way to escape. He suspects that Zero is one of them, so he kills everyone. He knows there's a sub behind the sun door, and was planning on ambushing Junpei's group to take it. June tried to escape using her extra key but was stabbed along the way. Ace could have escaped right then, but he doesn't want to leave any loose ends, so he killed Junpei's group anyway.

Knife end, he didn't end up in door 1, so Ace panics again, this time by going through the 9 door by himself. So he killed Lotus, and killed Junpei because he stumbled into it.

Also, they were killed by an Axe. If Ace didn't enter Door 1, then the only one with access to that axe is capt.

Seven and Lotus where with them. 3 against one is a bit hard. Presumably he sucker punched Santa like in the true end, and proceeded to try and kill two defenseless women. So lying in ambush is a good plan. Are you sure it was an axe? I just remember them being dead and bleeding.
