One of the little beams that holds the star on the broom of my Marisa snapped, darn. Had to super glue it, luckily it looks just fine. Now I just need to find a way to keep that damn hat on her at all times. Got around to cleaning and dusting my entire room before opening her, have her right next to my monitor. Only problem is whenever I'm typing her hat has a habit of falling off. Might have to stick something under the base to stabilize her.

New to the whole buying figures thing. Found a Nendoroid I like on ebay, but reviews seem to point out that there is a good chance something I buy might be a bootleg. Does bootleg always equal bad or will they be of satisfactory quality?

Fuck. I just got an email from Amiami, saying that cannon BRS, Dead Master and the Blu-Ray set shipped together would total 7500 yen in shipping alone.

I checked HS and they have the same thing, shipping is cheaper but the items are more expensive, so it's actually more expensive in the end, which doesn't help.

Cannon BRS also seems to be selling out pretty fast.

What do I do? Perhaps I should just pass on this opportunity.

Everyone selling it is selling out of China minus one Australia location so chance of bootleg is high, although I'm still curious about bootlegs in general.

i only mentioned chinese guys because they advertise that they'll do it. depending on who they are they might even take the time to make copies of your kit. maybe you can broker that as price for painting, or a discount, heh.
the only hard part is finding an experienced model kit painter to do it. if you can find one locally that should be fine.

That price seems a little low, especially what with the shipping.

If you want to make sure you're perfectly entitled to a refund, contact them saying that it MUST be authentic or else it won't do. If they say that it's authentic in a reply, then you're perfect, legally. In that situation, you've absolutely nothing to lose.

For that cheap, I'd say take the risk. Chances are you'll be fine, as there's no negative feedback that matters on the seller, it's not that much money, and they have explicitly stated that it's authentic.
