this ban means no more naruto, one piece, bleach, dragon ball etc. doesn't affect porn and 18+ doujins this board's about though.

so, yeah, we don't lose.

>> No.6627525

It affects ero mangaka of the future. They won't have any references to practice from at an early age like most of them do.

Have you ever heard of this thing called internet? Plenty of reference on Pixiv and elsewhere.

It affects comiket and loli manga regardless of 18+ labeling.

It depends, its hard to say how strictly they're going to censor things. And what the industries will decide to do.

No, it doesn't.

Most (if not almost all) of our stuff's already rated 18+, and the bill focuses almost entirely on anime. Touhou won't be affected either. Anime may be slightly affected but eroge etc is just fine.

Besides, the bill's very likely going to get repealed or neutered soon anyway. Or just flat-out ignored because it operates on arbitrary opinions and will be very very difficult to fully enforce. And even so... worst comes to worst studios just relocate outside Tokyo. Bookstores etc aren't going to want to stop carrying some of their best-sellers either, everyone down the line is against the bill.

If by "affects" you mean "brings in new artists and customers who prefer artistic freedom not allowed in commercial publications" then yes, it does.

>> No.6627627

This affects every form of media except live-action and novels.
So, yes, your eroge will be affected, specially the ones with underaged characters, be it on actual age or appeareance.

>> No.6627630

>>6627627
Actually, even ones with actions considered ''harmful'' to society will be prohibited, this includes raping, suicide, etc.
But if worst comes to worst, I know for sure this guy will be shot in the head.

Could you quote me the exact part of the law that says that? And please don't link to shit sites like sankaku or whatever sensationalist otaku tabloid.
Because I see a lot of people talking bullshit without even knowing what the bill says first-hand.

>> No.6627653

>>6627627
No, it fucking won't, because eroge are already rated 18+. The bill simply mandates that anything with content found objectionable under the new law cannot be sold to minors and hence is 18+.

The REAL danger is that because of the risk of exposing supposedly objectionable content to minors, some anime might not get shown anymore because of this, or they'd need to get neutered/4kids-ized to air. VNs/eroge aren't affected much by the law because you don't have to worry about toning those down for a massive TV audience who might get "offended".

>> No.6627666

>>6627627
What are you talking about?
It just says that a lot of things which could be sold or shown to kids in public places (such as anime on public tv (not private stations)) can no longer be done so. Thus if you just label your porn 18+ (like it already is, pretty much all eroge and h doujinshi are labeled as 18+), there is no problem. Mind you, this is also limited to Tokyo only.

Even if they aren't, they still aren't affected by this law. Dumbass. There is no point in arguing this, /jp/ material is mostly unscathed and that's fucking that.

The most that can happen is that Comiket gets canceled, which would hurt /a/ just as badly as it would hurt us and would probably result in the law getting repealed or altered because of the huge economic losses it'd be causing.

Because kids don't know what sex is and never explore their sexuality until the very second they turn 18!
