>Following the approval of Tokyo's Youth Ordinance Bill earlier today, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department announced they have already prepared arrest warrants to go out on Wednesday - when Bill 156 will go before the full Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly for a vote. Superintendent Kosaka Daisuke announced in a press conference that he is prepared to pursue "a certain group of individuals who are actively interfering with the development of our youth, in violation of the (ordinance bill)." Among the list of individuals posted online on the department's website includes the notorious Kubo Tite - author of the manga Bleach, one of the most popular anime franchises worldwide.

>Several news agencies have failed to contact Kubo at his Tokyo residence, and posters on the Japanese online blog 2ch have noted their observations of suspected undercover police vans and patrols around the area. Other posters have remarked that policemen around Tokyo have been following individuals who are wearing sunglasses similar to those Kubo normally wears. There is no word yet on whether Kubo is still in Tokyo, or if he has fled in advance of Kosaka's warning.
