Throwing fireballs and flying doesn't make you immune to getting your skull punctured and your brain getting turned into ground beef by a bullet. Indexverse is above shit tier fiction like nasu garbage because it is realistic in that fashion.


There is only few science side characters that can blow up cities and they are partially/fully immune depending on the character. Getting basic low tier ESP or Magic powers won't save you from sniper blasting your skull apart from a block way when your unaware

People getting shot has turned up way more than once in Index, it didn't just happen once out of convenience. The only thing is that basically only the badguys ever use guns (and rarely at that); Touma could really benefit from having one for example but even if he did he probably wouldn't use it because he's a moralfag. One of these days Touma's probably going to encounter someone who's just gonna pull a gun on him instead of do a little speech and have some JRPG-like magical turn based fighting.

post-gunshot accelerator is very weary of his surroundings and carries a gun himself. he doesn't have a set pattern and has organizations shelter him and provide him with stuff.

by the time some average faggot gets the information on accelerator the organization around him would have already found out about the faggot and probably killed him otherwise let accelerator know. he is basically a hitman/clean upper for academy city...
