Night star is when Yukari's actually doing something while on business. That's why it's so frenetic, so rushed. She'll spend some time with you, but you'd better be quick, or she'll be off to play with someone else.

Necrofantasia is Yukari in her free time.

Necrofantasia is easily in the top 5 best, while I don't think I've ever really paid much attention to Evening Star.
It's so very hard and powerful, and one of the very few songs that a rock remix can do justice.

Necrofantasia since Yukari was the first extra boss I cleared (after Ran but fuck Ran that fight was a fluke)

It is also the embodiment of ZUNtrumpets, so if you like ZUN's music you have to like Necrofantasia.

Oh, I don't know. I usually judge songs based on the original ZUN mix, and then try to find remixes if I enjoy the original. So it doesn't really matter to me if something's overused or not.

Wouldn't it make more sense to say the theme is Yukari's, who bequeathed her shikigami a lesser version? I mean, just because you hear Ran's first ingame doesn't mean it was composed or canonically created (does music have canon?) first.
