what does /jp/ listen to other then touhou remixes? I considered myself a VOCALOID and techno fan.

Apocalyptica is pretty awesome.

was never really that fond of touhou remixes in the first place. Really, listening to the original is good enough for me.

>> No.6594839

Vocaloid from time to time. I spend so much time and energy on my Touhou music collection, I barely have time for any Vocaloid, which I consider a pity. Sometime in the near future I should try to go around and pick up a bunch of nice Miku and/or Luka albums.

Other than that, I sometimes listen to (non-commercial) radio, but that's more for the featured programs than for the music. Oh and I have a few albums that I've gotten through my parents. Mostly locally produced pop and stuff. Some of it is really good.

OP here, try some of the newer stuff. This is a pretty good album. Just got this.

I don't usually listen to non-Touhou music. If I do it's usually random songs found in decent videos.

my tastes are all over the place, just depends on mood. dub reggae when i'm in the mood to take it easy, gabber/hardcore when i'm not. dubstep when i can crank up the bass, mashup music is great anytime and jpop when i'm feeling faggy.

i love touhou music when i'm playing the games but i haven't been impressed by most of the remixes i've heard.

Anything song that modifies voices is game, including vocaloid. Just got into talkbox

honestly, i have to say. Much like touhou music, you have to dig in REAL deep to find the hidden jewels amongst the sea of shitty vocaloid songs.

The torrent is the very first post but its a few months old. You could catch up by downloading the ~20gb of individual albums hes uploaded but he says in a few day he will put up a up to date torrent with all the vocamas 14 albums included anyway so it would probably be wise to wait..

Idolm@ster. Over 50 singles/albums/drama cds in my collection so far. Which is still less than half of what's out there. Anyway, the subbed Danketsu video is a good first introduction:

Yeah that definitely is true. Although to be honest i think that there are a lot less shitty Vocaloid albums then there are Touhou ones. However that could just be because there are significantly less Vocaloid Albums in general.

I recently took interest in EXIT TUNES albums. Pretty good or quite bad depending on times.

Noise, ambient, 8bit, experimental stuff. I stopped listening to "music" a couple years back when I got bored of hearing the same kind of shit over and over. Now I explore sound and its ascetics, and even have my own little ambient/noise project.

I do listen to touhou though.

I mostly listen to Vocaloid. Hachi, Treow, Scop, and Hoehoe are my favorite producers right now. I also like musicals. Espeacially if I can find foreign recordings. I have a fair amount of Yoko Kanno music on my MP3 player as well.

I don't usually listen to music that's in English because it gets stuck in my head too easily.

Bookmarking this. Looks like a pretty dope blog.

Other than mostly Touhou and Vocaloid-influenced electronic music, I listen to northern soul, old R&B, garage and freakbeat, reggae, rocksteady, Jamaican & Two-Tone ska, mod, and some punk. I've also been known to listen to indie bands that are influenced by the above.

>> No.6596266

Mainly themes and BGMs from anime.

Other than that, video game OSTs like the Ar Tonelico OSTs, miscellaneous songs from Nico Nico, and Lady Gaga.
