Furniture is overrated...although I may get myself a couch, not sure yet. Still trying to figure out what to do with the bookcase I salvaged from the dumpster (on the right), maybe put my servers on it along with some figures. Found a nice coffee table someone left by the trash too, just needs some washing off and maybe a nail or two to fix the laminate, but otherwise perfectly good condition.

I can't shake the feeling that you live in a bathroom turned on its side.

And dumpster diving is pretty cool, those Food Not Bombs guys do it all the time, and make free meals for people, along with anti-capitalism sentiment and militant veganism. Most of the shit stores throw out has minor cosmetic damage, or is past its sell-by date. I'd dive a Trader Joe's dumpster any day, and eat like a goddamn king.

It really is amazing the things people throw away. I als found a nice kitchen table, it's got some scratches and worn-off surfaces but otherwise it's perfectly good. If I had the time and inclination, I could buy some sandpaper and lacquer and it'd be as good as new.

I'd go to class at 10 if it wasn't for the fact that I have some shitty eye infection sort of thing going and I haven't done my homework (translation) even though I've been up since 9AM yesterday.
It's 730AM now.

Good thing I decided to just put off writing that assignment due on the 16th for sometime in January and then take the exam next semester.

I removed all of them myself.

Ahaha, yes actually. I drive it down the road at least once every two months (1970 Chevy)
>How did they hook up electricity to it?
Dug a long ditch, buried some cables. It's essentially hooked up by a long extension cord, but it's more complicated than that. It runs on its on separate breaker.

It appears kind of weird, but it's actually very nice light. Besides, I'm staring at a 24" monitor all day, I suppose my eyes are used to it, if it were in fact annoying. Can be bothersome to read books though, if the page isn't flat, it could be cyan, yellow, or purple or something else instead of white.

All the lights only cost about $100 to put together =]. These are fairly bright, I've also got the living room [attached] which has a different style of lighting to it (ring around the ceiling). Currently setup for a LAN party.
