Old news?

I'd imagine the technology to do this has been around for awhile, at least... not exactly self-aware AI here.

i almost died when she said "i just want to be friends." jesus, what a cliched line that's still somehow so potently awful to hear.

i never want to see her say that ever again. i never really noticed before that identifying with miku as a human is this terrible.

it isn't miku if she's not above society/human circumstance.

anyways, this technology is getting close to the holy grail.

Haha firendzoned.

This is pretty awesome though.

"Good job, Miku."
"... Good job, Miku."
"... Miku, are you listening?"
"Sorry, I wasn't listening."
"Good job, Miku."
"...... Good job, Miku."
"Bye, Miku..."
"Bye-bye!"

I think this program knows what it's doing.

What's wrong with being friends?

>> No.6586966

It reminds me of the holo-guides in Mass Effect.

Nonsense.

Miku is above the concept of the friendzone. While still capable of love, she's a goddess who happily exists to sing. She doesn't need to think about things like that.

This guy asking the questions is a true player.

It's bad for those that have Miku as a waifu you know...

Why did you suddenly go into dance and song.

it's pointless and boring. adding to that, both the concept and how the statement is used there remind me of humanity and what i don't like about society.

not to lecture, but the idea of love vs friendship as the definitive levels of interaction, and even friendship at all, is distinctly human, and moreover modern. especially here; friendship the way she uses it here is used to denote a social level that it's important that humans keep distinct for society to function properly. in the first place, making that response to "will you go out with me?" implies the mindset of someone heavily molded/influenced by modern human society.

if i were able to interact with the existence i would call "miku," i wouldn't want it to be as a member of society. if i wanted to do that i would just go talk to some random human girl.

my lack of desire to see miku as human(or maybe i should say something constrained by society?) is pretty well described by >>6586979.

reading over this again, i wonder how i ever got this crazy.

but i can't look at a real human girl anymore without thinking about the existence/mind/motivations behind the appearance, no matter how cute or happy they try to look.

so i don't want her to be like a human, in a number of ways.

haha I burst out laughing. Whoever wrote her program must have been aware that many people would ask if she liked them. To make her not be a slut it was the only option.

she could have said "i love everyone equally!" or "i'm not allowed to accept, but i still love you!" something all-encompassing but fits miku's cute/happy personality.

then again, i might have died if she said something that cute, so maybe it's better she didn't.
