If you're new to MB then yes. So far I've seen that most of the players here are good with the most of the characters which probably determines how much of experience they have with the game. Personally I try to master one character in any game that I play and then move on to the other ones. If you feel that you're good enough to stand against most of the other opponents you can try to learn other charas. That's what I usually do anyway. Playing as one character can lead to boredom.
