I'm working with a kirikiri game, and the .xp3 has been packaged into the .exe file. The extractor I used gets it out, but I don't know how to put it back in. Can anyone familiar with kirikiri help me out?

It's the game I'm working with, Wrigglui. And by working with I mean translating. My problem is that I can get the scripts out of the game just fine. But, I don't know how to overwrite the old, Japanese files with the new English ones, without also overwriting the stuff the game needs to work.

Oh sorry I misread your post. I read it that "once you take the files out they're not there, how to put them back" Is XP3 repacker what you want?

Thanks for your time. I've tried that, but it doesn't work. The issue is that when I try to repack into the exe, it overwrites the entire thing instead of just the xp3 portion.

You don't need putting them back to the exe. Make a patch.xp3 and see if the changes you make worked.
